Pet care experience
I am an active 24-year-old pet owner who lives for the mutual love and joy between a boy and his dog. With 17 years, 3 dogs, and 3 cats’ worth of an ever-deepening connection with domestic canines and felines of all breeds, I am your man to help ensure the health, safety, and contentment of your home and your furry loved-one(s). My upbringing as a pet owner is responsible for my belief that positive reinforcement, a gentle hand, a happy voice, fun walks, and belly rubs are the best ways to earn your furry guardian’s love and respect. Such experience has also ingrained my familiarity with the routines, chores, and clean-up habits inherent to raising a pet within a clean, livable home. My prior experience house-sitting for friends, family, and colleagues has also taught me the fundamental courtesies for tending another person/family's home. Our only complaint will be needing to say good-bye!

I’m a crazy dog mom so I’m always a bit weary to have someone new watch my dogs. The meet and great was helpful and he even showed me how he walks dogs (as my neighbors previously mentioned other sitters were not as nice). David made me feel so comforted knowing my house and boys were taken care of. I didn’t feel the need to “check-in” or make sure everything was OK as I was getting a perfect amount of updates with pictures. My boys went swimming, running and even to the dog park. I even came home to a clean house! Major bonus points. Best dog sitter I’ve used for far. Thanks so much, David!
I don't think I've ever had a dog sitter be so dedicated to exercising and engaging with my very high energy dog. Every day I was getting reports and photos of the two of them out at the dog park, on a hiking adventure or having a playdate with his own dog. My neighbor even texted and said that they'd all gone to the dog park together. Fern can be a lot to handle for people who aren't experienced and/or serious dog lovers and I'm grateful to have found someone who actually has experience with working dogs and their needs. David also left Fern with extra treats too, which both of us love.

Medical conditions, vaccinations, contact information for your veterinarian are essential, thank you very much (these do NOT affect my willingness to dog-sit your pooch, but are vital to ensuring his/her safety). I would appreciate other helpful information as well, such as your pet's normal daily routine, feeding habits, behavioral quirks and temperament with people and other animals, favorite activities, the best way to wash him/her, and an honest house-training assessment.
A typical day
I am an active, athletic individual who can reciprocate any dog's adventure bug, from your elderly citizen to your 3-year old Blue Heeler, from afternoon strolls around the block, to fetch in the park, to 15-mile weekend day-hikes (if you think your pup would enjoy an overnight backpacking trip, let me know!).
