Pet care experience
Hi! My name is David and I love animals. I’ve been caring for dogs, either my own or someone else’s for most of my life. I’ve worked professionally as a doggy day care counselor, I volunteer at Alexandria Animal Welfare League, SPCA of Northern Virginia, and trained with the service dogs of Paws for Purple Hearts. I’ve also cared for cats, turtles, birds, and ferrets to name a few! I work from home and will be able to spend plenty of time with your pet.

David was very kind and attentive to my senior dog with medical issues. My dog required pill dosing and eye drops on a daily basis, plus a special diet. I checked in with David during my time away (11 days) and was reassured when he said all was well. I know my dog had a couple of days with GI issues and David handled the situation calmly. I really appreciated his good care and would highly recommend.
Timber had a short stay with David and it went off without a hitch! David was great and responsive. Will definitely look to book with him again!

Availability
I’m quite flexible with my work from home situation, which is permanent and not pandemic dependent. I am available most weekends and during the week I can usually get away for a quick walk during the day, and play romps/potty breaks outside are no problem.
