Pet care experience
My family has been raising guide dog puppies for the blind since I was a child. Our job was to take the puppy as early as it could leave it's mother and give them all of the basic training they would need: walking on lead, socialization, house training, etc. I used to take one of our puppies to high school. We would ride on the subway, be in math class, he would hang out under my seat in music classes. From this experience, I am very in tune with how dogs are feeling and their energy and I'm versed in most basic training methods, especially walking on lead. I get along with dogs very naturally. Over time, most dogs feel the sense of comfortability around me as I do around them.
Reviews
The first time I ever met Dave 13 years ago, he was training a helper dog. Since then, I have witnessed him around many dogs and with every doggie encounter, he has shown himself to be some sort of dog whisperer. He knows exactly how to care for and handle any type of dog. Also, he's not only great with dogs, he's a wonderful human. A truly stand up person. I don't give that compliment to many :)
Dave, was probably one of the best walkers I ever had. Not only was he a personality but a great companion for my dog Django. On time, as well as enthusiastic. Sad, to see Dave go, but he is quite the worker, and most definitely someone who I'd hire again to be my pups companion! I couldn't recommend him enough.

Are they house trained? How old are they? Low or high energy? Any health issues you have noticed?
A typical day
We will go to dog parks, on walks or runs, throw the ball or frisbee for as long as I can, hang out in my fenced in yard with plenty of space to run and sniff some of the other dogs in the neighborhood!
