Pet care experience
Since I was born, I was surrounded by dogs. I have always considered our dogs throughout the years to be a members of our family. I have been fortunate to experience dogs with different personalities. I have a lot of experience with dogs and look forward to getting to know your pet. I will treat your dog as if it was my own ~ I will update you with pictures while you are away so that you know they are in good hands. My partner and I have two Westies at home that are overly loved and overly spoiled. I started Rover years ago, but haven’t stopped because I just love meeting and caring for client’s dogs. I would appreciate the opportunity to be your dog sitter and get to know you and your pets. Talk to you soon! I work remote so that makes it fairly easy to work from your home. All I will need access to is your Wi-Fi password. This works out great for your pets as they will have someone in their home for extended hours. Great idea if you have pets with social anxiety. I am able to spend my time within your home due to working remote. This helps me be able to offer maximum time with your pets and spend time playing and go for walkies throughout the day.

AMAZING!! I was very nervous leaving the country and trying Rover for my first time. What silly feelings I may have had at one time. David and Jake made everything so easy and peaceful for us while we were away. Usually in the past I have asked family or friends to watch the babies while we were away and I knew that they were getting minimum care, my babies always seemed stressed when we got home. David and Jake stepped right in, as if we had never left and took care of everything if not better than if we were home. We walked in the door around midnight and for the first time ever all three animals did not look stressed out and they were so happy to see us. We could sense it instantly that they were taken care of so well by these two guys ! I had originally told them don’t worry about sending me messages daily I trust that they will do the job they are paid to do. However I got a daily text from them sometimes with pictures and it was highlight of our day to get an update. My teenager would ask me periodically through the day “ have they sent you a message yet.” They were very easy to communicate with and responsive very quickly. The icing on the cake for us was the small details, such as filling up the Britta filter to make sure they had water for when we got back home, cleaning kitty litter extra time, leaving us a note confirming what they had done prior to leaving for their last time. I dislike giving poor reviews but I felt that I needed to so no one would have to go through what I went through during a vacation. I met with David & Jake previous to their stay with my dog and they were very personable, attentive to my dog, and seemed responsible as Dog Sitters. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case and their weeklong booking was terminated after only 4 days. They only communicated with me once in 4 days with only 1 picture, told me the Rover site was broken which was why I wasn't receiving communications, left my dog for over 7 hours alone even though I had instructed they not leave her for extended periods, and from what I could tell, only walked her once in the 4 days. This had been only the 2nd time I had left my dog for an extended period and so had given David & Jake detailed instructions on my dog's care, to which they had initially agreed but didn't follow through on. An overall bad experience.

A typical day
I love to walk dogs - they get so excited. It helps me be more physically active.I like to let the dog go at their own pace. If they want to jog, well, that means I jog. I am willing to play fetch in the park. I can drive to one if it is not in the area. Let me know if that would be okay to transport your dogs to a park. If not, an extra long walk around the neighborhood would be great as well.
