Pets Are Inn

Pet care experience

I was inspired to become become a dog sitter a couple of years ago by someone inspired to be a vet tech and is a dog expert. She makes it look so easy, I figured, why not me? So here I am! I’ve been pet sitting for 7 years now, and have worked with very small toy dogs to giant, 60 pound dogs. I have 2 dogs of my own (2 chihuahua's) who I care for everyday. They're kept clean, safe, well fed, and well over spoiled! They're the definition of all bark and no bite--so if your pup comes over, they're going to get an earful! My neighborhood is incredibly dog friendly. Literally from one end of the street to the other, there is a dog in every house. Since I live around a stadium, there is small park right around the corner where I could take my dogs (or yours) for a walk/ or run. As for my yard, I have a front and back yard that are perfect for doggy guests. The front yard is big enough to host a party in (and there's nothing better than a puppy party!) The backyard is small, but enough for the dogs to run around in or explore. I am currently in the business of selling solar panels while also dog sitting for Rover. I'm very relaxed and pay as much attention to small details as I possibly can. I'm very strict when it comes to rules, so if you have any rules about your dog I will follow it to the very last letter. Dogs have been in my life since I was a very young kid, and I love spending time with them. I am very committed to seeing these animals be as happy and comfortable as they can be, even if I have to go out of my way. Dogs have been with me through thick and thin. They have helped me through major depression as a kid, stress, loneliness, and heartbreak. Dogs have helped me through so much, and for that I feel that I owe them something in return. This is probably why I have such immense love for these animals and would do anything to keep them happy, whether or not they are my own. I'd love to get to know you and your pet, let's set up a meet and greet! I currently sell solar panels and while I'm busy most of the day, weekends I'm completely free for the whole weekend. I usually have help from my mother if anything is needed I have a fenced in front yard and back yard. I've made sure to make the fences are escape proof and haven't had a problem with escapes.

David worked with me with his schedule so we could get Pepper a place to stay in time for my flight, which was very helpful. The house is really secure and lovely for a dog of her size to play in and her tail didn't stop wagging around him.

How I care for pets heavily depends on how many I'm taking in and if I already know the pet. If its just one pet, I usually have introduce them to my pet(s) and see how they react to each other. If it is multiple pets, I try to have a meet and greet to get a sense of the where the owners is coming from and how the dog is.

Information David T. would like to know about your pet

Please share with me any and all pertinent information regarding your dog. I am very accommodating, and will tailor my care to the dogs needs and your wishes. It is also important for me to know of any medical issues, allergies, or behavioral concerns. I also would like to know basic information like--what they can and cannot eat, do they prefer to sleep with people or in their own beds, how often do you shower them, any allergies they react to, should I keep them away from anything, and any other details you think are important. I have no breed preferences, all dogs are welcomed.

A typical day

My house is a cozy one, which is why I tend to take in small to medium sized dogs. The front yard is big enough to have 6 little ones run around for hours upon hours, while also having access to the backyard, which is securely gated. I think it is safe to say though that from one end of the street down towards the other end, everyone in this neighborhood has a dog, so people look out for each other's animals. Also, because I live near a stadium, it is a popular place for people to take their dogs to walk around it, so that's always a big plus for me.
