I have had dogs and cats since i was 5 years old and have always loved being around them and playing with/caring for them. I am currently a dental student at Touro Dental College, and am usually home studying, meaning your pet will not be left alone for very long. Prior to my switch to the dental field, my plan was to apply to veterinary schools and I worked at a veterinary clinic (Earth Angels, Poughkeepsie New York) for almost four years. Because of this background I have dealt with MANY different personalities and demands of pets, and have gotten along with and loved each of them :)

David walks my dog and he boarded her for 11 days -my dog loves him. David is the best!
Dave was terrific & very friendly. We could tell Bucky had a fun time. We would definitely use David again if in the area.
The minute that David reached out to us, we knew he was the perfect fit for our 10 year old Cockapoo. Our dog showed that he trusted David and was comfortable with him right away. We were able to relax on our vacation, knowing that our dog was in the responsible care of David. We received daily photos that showed our dog having a wonderful time. David even reached out to us when he noticed that our dog had a bump and he was able to give us some insight on the cause of the bump (nothing serious). This showed that he truly cared about our dog. I would absolutely recommend David to anybody looking for the perfect dog sitter.
I’m David’s neighbor and everytime me and my husband are out of town, which is frequent because we both travel a lot for work, David is always the person we ask to watch our golden retriever. He’s reliable and my dog never wants to leave David’s house when we go to pick him up lol. He’s knowledgeable when it comes to understanding how to take care of a dog. A soon-to-be veterinarian, David makes leaving town a lot less stressful and is someone you want watching your dog!

it is important to know a dogs daily routine to maintain what they are used to. along with this knowing a dogs behaviors such as if they like to play or how they like to sleep is very helpful along with other things such as medications and other needs.
A typical day
a typical day of activities would involve multiple walks (consistent with the pets current routine), a lot of play time during my study breaks (which happen way too often), and a lot of cuddling

Availability
As a current student, most of my day is spent at home studying, making pet care very ideal. Along with this pet care is ideal because due to my constant studying, having a pet around helps ease the stress:)
