We also have a 2.5 y/o Golden Retriever, Duke, who absolutely loves playing with other dogs. I've had pets my whole life and my kids have also had the pleasure of canine companions their whole life. We've been using Rover for a couple of years with amazing results, and now we are excited to host! My son, Nico, is 10 years old and wants to make this a "career", so we are going to work as a team to provide the best care. (Adult supervision will always be there)

David took care of our Luxor very well. We received pictures and updates daily. Him and his family really showed loving care to our dog. This was our first time to use Rover, and so we were a bit apprehensive. But after drop off, we saw how he cared for our pet family. We are so thankful that we found David, and Rover. And will return to his service if his availability permits.
Wow! I am so impressed and appreciative of the care Pugsley received for his stay. He loves being around other dogs and humans (especially kids). He has only been kenneled once when he was two. Never again! Rover.com is the best. Thank you David for the wonderful time for Pugsley!
Our dog Zoe really enjoyed her stay with David and his family. She seemed to be well taken care of and Zoe enjoyed playing with David's golden retriever Duke. David responded quickly to our initial request for the stay, and he kept us updated during Zoe's stay on how she was doing. We would definitely have David and his family take care of Zoe again.
David was so easy to communicate with and responded very quickly to my request. He was very flexible and made our dog feel right at home. Their dog, Duke, is very friendly and our dog had a blast playing with him and the rest of the family. I will definitely book with David in the future.

We do not have a fenced yard, but that is something we would like to install this year. We take leashed walks around the neighborhood, which is very dog friendly, and take trips to the dog park (weather permitting and with your approval). Both children love to play with dogs when they are home from school, we even have a large assortment of toys ready for your fur baby!

A typical day
We like to go on walks around the neighborhood and playing fetch at the dog park. We give plenty of pets & head scratches throughout the day. We also have a large bin of dog toys to keep the dogs busy in between outside time.

Availability
I work from home and consider it a luxury to hang out with dogs while working from a laptop! We do at least 4 walks a day and have a large open area to play in. My pup usually eats twice a day, but he's not food aggressive and can be adaptive to eating schedules. He is off-leash trained, but we still walk around the neighborhood with a leash.
