If you ask my dog Boomer about me, I'm certain he'll have nothing but good things to say. We've been best friends and roommates for more than seven years now, and he's the best companion I could ask for. In addition to Boomer, I've also watched over senior dogs. Not too long ago, I did a bit of dog walking for a couple who was out of town and needed their two dogs walked twice a day. In addition, I dog sit my sister's Beagle Basset Hound mix regularly. She can be a handful, but she's a sweet dog and I love spending time with her. My experience with dogs isn't measured by years but rather by the different types of dogs I've cared for. I've watched over dogs with arthritis and have taken care of dogs with anxiety. My dog gets seizures from time to time as well, but even with his health issue, I wouldn't trade him for any other dog. It's worth pointing out that I'm a freelance writer and work from home (as well as several coffee shops) and can take my work with me anywhere I go. So short notice calls or emergency dog sitting and walking sessions in a pinch are not a problem. I'm a freelance writer, so I have a very flexible schedule. Though I have a backyard for him to sniff around in, he's definitely an indoor doggo.
