Genuine dog and all-around pet lover looking to help you keep your dogs or other pets safe, fit, happy and feeling at home while you're away or even while they're away from home. I've owned pets with my family growing up and through my entire adult life. We always had two dogs throughout my childhood as well as other pets culminating with those two dogs, a cat, a rabbit, a bird and a hamster. We actually had a horse at the time, but that was on the family farm "up north", in Northern Indiana. My sister wanted to be a vet as a kid so our parents nurtured that passion for her. This with with growing up around a family farm in Northern Indiana on the weekends has made me comfortable around all types of animals and helped me develop skills and intuition on making animals feel comfortable, safe and at home in my presence. Into adulthood, I've owned and currently have two great loyal, behaved and trained rescue pups of my own, Indy (6 months) and Wrigley (3 years). They are very social and great with other dogs at dog parks and always had great reviews at doggy day cares and on overnight stays. We have a backyard that's 75% grass with other 25% rocks that I'm always looking to make larger for my own pups to play and run. There's also a completely separate section on the side of the house that is fenced separate from the backyard that can be utilized. With a break in work currently, I'm looking to stay busy while doing some renovations around the house. I'm joining Rover to make some extra cash in my downtime and use my space, extra time and love for pets to do so.
