Pet care experience
I am a Philadelphia-born, Temple grad seeking some gratifying part-time work. I live in Port Richmond and work from home about 3-4 days during the week. When I'm not working I love to be outdoors, sample local restaurants, travel, and hang out with whatever pup I happen to be taking care of. I've been around dogs since I began breathing and I hope that pattern continues in the future. I have dog sitting experience with all types of canines, from miniature Whippets to rotund Pit Bulls. I can keep up with a super energetic pup or be contemplative with an older, reserved type. I am extremely happy with my dog’s stay with David. He was responsive and extremely flexible which I greatly appreciated. He sent me updates and pictures throughout the stay, and I felt really comfortable knowing my pup was in good hands. Would definitely recommend!!!

I live in a second floor apartment which is approximately 800 square feet. There is no yard but there are a few parks around my house I can take your dog to.

I would prefer to know what kind of environment your dog is used to, ie., does he/she live in a large house with a yard or a high rise apartment? Also, please let me know if your dog is okay off their leash and friendly to other dogs.
A typical day
My approach to taking care of any dog requires paying full attention to the owner's instructions. I would never step outside the boundaries of the owner's guidelines when dealing with their pets. Implementation of strict feeding schedules or medication application according to the owner are of utmost importance when taking care of pets. Having said that, I've been taking care of dogs my entire life. Not only have I owned a few, I've also looked after several family members' pups as well (including a one-eyed pug!). I love walking, playing with, and simply being around other dogs and I'm always looking for opportunities to do so.

I work full-time but mostly from home. I also have a weekend bartending gig which requires about 5-8 hours of away time on Saturdays and Sundays.
