Pet care experience
I am a lifelong dog/home sitter with a goal of assisting the Charleston dog community around my caddie responsibilities at the golf course. My familiarity with dogs has grown over the last three years as my wife introduced her four dogs to our home (weimaraner, yellow lab and two schnauzer-poodles). She has taught me the importance of positive reinforcement and behavioral consistency - skills she obtained as a former resident of a dog rescue facility. Our dogs are used to meeting new foster dogs and don't mind sharing their space. To prevent overcrowding, we will only accept two additional dogs into our home with no client overlap. Our dogs eat their meals around breakfast and dinner time. Sierra the labrador is always hungry, so we don't leave food sitting out.

David and Kate were amazing! They are extremely accommodating and I am so thankful that they took such great care of my dog when he stayed with them for four days while I was out of town. I highly recommend using David to care for your dog!
Our two pups stayed with David for a long weekend and we couldn't be happier with our first Rover experience! David sent us daily pictures of the dogs enjoying their vacation and hanging with David's dogs! It's always a good sign when your dogs come up and are throughly tuckered out.
We felt comfortable from the moment we met David's pack of 4 dogs and his fiancee Kate--she has extensive experience working with and caring for dogs, and it showed both in the way she handled the meeting and the questions she asked. David was super communicative, sending updates and pictures of our pup's adventures each day. He was also flexible around pickup when our flights got delayed! It was clear that they made the week fun and safe for Nala, and we'll definitely be booking with them again in the future. Thanks, David, Kate, YoYo, and the rest of the gang!
