Vet tech with 10yrs experience

Pet care experience

I am a veterinary technician with 10 years experience. I began working in small animal general practice while completing my bachelors degree. I then transitioned to small animal emergency medicine where I have 4 years experience. Eventually, I found myself working at an avian and exotic only clinic caring for reptiles, mammals, birds, and amphibians. Currently I work as the lead vet tech at the Tracy Aviary, I have extensive experience with avian and exotic species.

David was absolutely the best. He's super knowledgeable and was great with the pups. One of my dogs had a tooth abscess right before I left and I was so worried but David reassured me that he was fine with giving him antibiotics and gave me daily updates on how he was eating. It really made me feel reassured and glad I had used David while I was away for the holidays.

David took incredibly good care of our pup, Koby, over a 3 day period of sitting/drop-ins. He spent time playing with Koby in the back yard and took him on several walks a day. He is obviously good with dogs and has a wealth of experience caring for them. We felt that Koby was in extremely good and safe hands. We would definitely have David care for Koby in the future!

I am a veterinary technician who has worked with David for years. Not only does he treat his own dogs like gold, but also treats every pet he comes in contact with as if they were his own. David is fun, active and exciting and pets become overjoyed when they interact with him. He is trustworthy and responsible and has years of Veterinary skills needed to take care of the sickest of pets.

Information David M. would like to know about your pet

It is important to know if the dog is currently taking any medications, or has any pre-existing medical conditions. Equally important is knowing if there are any environmental triggers that may negatively influence the dogs behavior, and how to avoid this. If there are multiple pets in the home, what those relationships are like or if there are things to be concerned with. I would also like to know what vet the dog sees in case of emergency or other issue.

A typical day

I am extremely active, and love life in the outdoors. I have 3 fur children that require rigorous daily excersize and am no stranger to the outdoor recreation options available in the area. Weather it be a long hike in Millcreek canyon, or an endless game of fetch in your back yard, I am willing to do whatever is needed to tire your pets out.
