Pet care experience
Having worked several years at a dog boarding facility, I am familiar with the necessary procedures to tactfully care for dogs. This includes walking/playing, cooling a dog when overheating, and generally making the animals feel comfortable and happy. Additionally, I have been the caretaker to several friends’ canines, providing the same level of care.

David walked my 2 Weimaraners after my children left for college. He was simply fantastic! He managed to walk our 75 pound Cooper & our 95 Ms Bailey almost everyday! Weims are Notorious for being bad on leashes, he somehow managed to walk them 3+ miles a day! I’m so thankful for him! It’s been 6 years and whenever someone in our house says “David” my now 13 & 11 year old dogs act like pups again and sprint to the door! Thank you!!

I am guilty of spoiling my own animals with love, but never with food, as this has the potential to negatively impact their health. When caring for others’ pets, I find that they benefit from a lot of time spent with them, as they can grow nervous away from their person. All care is, of course, preliminarily run past the owner.
Information David M. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know how long it takes the dog to get used to new people, the type of activity they like the most, and if they have any favorite places or items that bring them comfort.
A typical day
I live right along the monon trail and think it is the perfect place to walk along, because it can be taken for such a long distance to tire out a pup. Additionally, I love taking social dogs to the dog park so they can run without my having to keep up. This trip, however, would not be until I know a dog well enough.

Availability
Currently I work a freelance job from home, so I am able to accommodate most times of day in which to provide pet care. This means that during the normal 8-5 during the week and the daylight hours of the weekend.
