Hello, Rover provides a great opportunity to have fur babies and my 5 yr old daughter loves meeting new dogs. We had 3 rescues, a sharpei, mastiff mix, and a boxer, who all lived very long and happy lives. I understand that your dog is a family member. I was an active foster parent when I lived in Missouri and successfully united 8 dogs with furever homes. I have a lot of experience dealing with very needy breeds and unique health problems. If your dog is healthy and able, I love going on hikes and with permission will take him or her out to trails. My daughter and I will both be providing care and make sure your dog gets lots of attention and the love it deserves. However, she's only 5, so your dog must be good with kids. My yard is fully fenced, and I'll also be doing walks for taking care of business, my neighborhood is very dog friendly and has lots of grassy areas (and fire hydrants) for your dog to explore. I'll take your dog out at least every 8 hours when home and immediately before and after work. We are more than happy to accommodate special needs when able, we dealt with Cushings with our Mastiff and understand that some dogs need extra attention. I can only watch dogs that are housetrained, as I will not keep your dog outside. Your dog will have the freedom to go in and outdoors with a doggy door if it fits, and you are comfortable with it. My daughter absolutely loves dogs, so your dog will get lots of love and attention during its stay. My daughter is very used to dogs and she's gentle and will always be supervised around the dog.
