Pet care experience
I grew up with an amazing Collie named Angie and a cat named Echo. As an adult I spent a lot of time caring for my brother's dog, Opie, a rambunxious German Shepherd mix with the energy of a case of dynamite, as well as our second cat, Kitty. I was also a cat dad to two playful cats, Sherlock and Stonie. I am active and enjoy the outdoors, have a flexible schedule, and a big heart for pups. I'm fit (former personal trainer) and can handle any sized dog. I have considered fostering, but Rover allows me to help dog owners, while providing me the joy of interacting with many different dogs. Based in the Whittier neighborhood of Minneapolis, close to lakes and parks!

Really nice experience. David was very consistent, conscientious and reliable and seemed to enjoy all the energy my rat terrier provides. He was able to meet exercise requirements consistently and safely even in the heat. My dog came home happy and healthy, and David's daily updates kept us worry free.
David was fantastic! He spent an extended weekend in our home with our two Irish terriers. Everything was well cared for, and I’m sure the pups were sad to see him leave!
We cannot recommend David highly enough! He stayed with our 2 German Shepherds for two weeks and we returned to some very happy dogs. They had epic walks daily and were obviously very spoiled. David was so professional and we received regular updates and pictures. I had zero stress about the dogs the whole time we were gone. Additionally we came home to a house that was cleaner than when we left. We will definitely be using David's services going forward and be recommending him to all of our pet parent friends.

Medium dogs (40-65 lbs) are my preference, but am open to other sized breeds. Prefer dogs with no leash aggression or aversion to other dogs in general, and ideally no dogs with special needs or medication routine.

Dog walks and parks are a regular part of my routine, fetch, tug of war -- the usual gamut of doggie funsies.
