While in college I noticed that a lot of my friends with dogs would often be stressed because of their constant obligations to their pooch. My dog sitting started off as a favor to a couple having a rough time watching their boston terrier during finals. After that, on weekends and evenings I was the go to guy for 4 or 5 of my friends when they found themselves shorthanded. After graduating and moving to New York I began dog sitting for a family in my building. I do dog walks for them as well as a two week stay with their dog during a family emergency. Their Lab Pointer mix is very energetic so I often take long walks with her and make sure she gets time to run and get rid of most of her energy before she gets home.
