Since I was 7 years old, I have been caring for dogs! I remember how elated I was when my dad brought home our first pet. We named him Lucky and he was a german shepherd/husky mix. I was 7 years old and he was my new best friend. I lived in a suburb of NYC and as I grew older, I was approached by many neighbors to care for their dogs while they were away. I accepted their requests with honor and enthusiasm. Dogs play such a special role in people's life and they deserve such much love and care. During my college years at Northern Arizona University (NAU), I would volunteer my time on weekends to play and walk the dogs at the Humane Society. I will never forget those days and I still remember some of their names and it has been over 25 years since I graduated. I am a very approachable individual and you can depend on me. I retired from an executive leadership position from the federal government in May 2015. I was employed by the same agency since I graduated NAU in May 1991. I am married and have two wonderful children. They are both over 18 and both attending college. I am a fit individual and exercise often so walking and playing with your dogs would be a pleasure. I cannot think of a better way to spend my free time than to be involved in something that I truly enjoy and caring for your dog(s) would be fulfilling for all parties involved (you, your pets, and me)!
