My wife is now working so is not available to all day home care for your pets during the week but can definately take in dogs during the weekends and also during the week if you dog does not require constant companionship during the day. We are currently empty nesters in terms of kids and pets. Both of our dogs have passed away after living long lives(boxer and a blue healer) so we would love to treat your pet and give them the love and attention they need for the short time you are gone and before we decide to get another pet in the home permanently. While we have no problem at all with keeping your animals in the house or wherever they are accustomed to, we also have a 2500 sq ft fenced in area that I had built as a play area for my dogs right next to the house. They are more than happy to play outdoors if that suites them! I also work in the Thomasville area, so I have the flexibility to do in-home dog walking and other services in Thomasville...incl possible pick up and drop off services for pet sitting in our home!
