My dog was being unusually fussy the day David came to walk her. He was very patient and spent time with her, taking her into the yard in lieu of a walk. Very pleased with the care he took with our dog.

David was great with our cat! Will be booking with him in the future. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend David! He was available to cat sit on short notice and made the effort to stop by for a meet and greet the day before I had to leave. He sent me pictures and videos of my cats everyday even though they're scared of strangers. He was very responsive and followed all the instructions.

Rain, snow, or sun, Rover is there

I’m a very active, animal-loving, former Active Duty US Marine Corps Veteran, born and raised in Africa. Growing up, I was surrounded by all kinds of animals, and my love for pets has no borders. I’m currently a student at Bellevue College working towards a degree in Personal Fitness, Environmental Consultation, and Cybersecurity. I’m also an avid social dancer and sports enthusiast––so your pup will get lots of play and exercise ...

What David would like to know about your dog

The best part of this work is getting to know each pup over time, like their personality quirks and cute habits, but some things are necessary to know beforehand. I’d like to know how friendly your dog is with other animals and humans, particularly children. How long does it take them to warm up to strangers, do they bite, how often are they able to slip out of the harness or collar without my knowledge? I’m a very responsible person and will be sure to keep a close eye on them at all times. But it’s good to know these tidbits so I can preemptively prevent mishaps from happening. I’ll also want to know the basics like their diet, routines, preferred modes of play, triggers, allergies, medications, etc.

I might bring a toy or two, but no treats. I only feed them treats that have been pre-approved. As for playing games, yes, we will play games, go on walks, jogs, whatever is within the pet's capacity. I’m also mindful of the fact that it’s extremely stressful leaving your beloved pet with a relative stranger, so I’ll go above and beyond to make sure you have peace of mind while your dog is in my care. I will send regular updates and will be reachable day or night. Please don’t hesitate to get in contact if you have any questions or concerns.

When David watches your pet

I am an avid runner, so, if they are capable of running, I will take them out for long runs or walks, regardless of the weather or time of day. Just as long as you’re okay with it. I’ll always get your permission before we engage in any strenuous. We will take plenty of walks around the neighborhood and visit dog parks, if your dog is a regular somewhere. We will get a nice balance of exercise and rest. When we’re not breaking a sweat, we’ll be home snuggled on the couch while I dive into my studies. And of course, I’ll adapt the level of activity based on your dog’s age, agility, and any other special needs.
