Pet care experience
I've had experience caring for cats since I was a kid. I love both cats and dogs, and they both usually respond well to me, but I primarily have experience with cats. I have experience caring for senior cats. I gave oral medication and subcutaneous fluids to my cat Oliver in last several weeks of his life. I also sat with him and helped coax him to eat because he was not eating enough on his own. I've also had to clean up after a cat that regularly failed to use the litterbox, so I can deal with crap.

He learned from our veterinarian how to administer the meds, injections and subcutaneous fluids that allowed us to keep Oliver comfortable at home. David cared for Oliver with love and compassion. He also has helped out a disabled friend by taking her dog to the dog park when she wasn’t able to. David is a caring, responsible human and I would recommend him to care of your 4-legged family members.

When visiting your pets, I will make sure to follow all of your instructions. I am happy to hang out with the pets for a while to help them not feel as alone. I can play with them (fetch, tug-o-war, feather toy, laser pointer, etc.). If your pet is shy but needs to socialize as well, I can wait and give them some time to come to me. I will make sure your pet is fed, given fresh water, and cleaned up after. I will be careful not to track in or touch anything or go anywhere unless it is necessary to care for your pet as per your instructions. I like to walk dogs including large dogs, and am very careful about maintaining a hold and control on the leash while also being careful not to pull harder than necessary.

A typical day
I love to walk, so if your pet likes to go for walks and explore, I'm happy to do that with them as long as they have the energy. For more energetic dogs, and even cats, I like to play fetch or run around with them when we have the space. I'm happy for the exercise as long as your pet wants to play. I'll also swing a feather to or string around as long as your cat keeps chasing it.
