Pet care experience
I have cared for dogs my entire adult life. I recently lost my English Bulldog of 11 years and find caring for other dogs has been cathartic and fulfilling for me. I love all animals especially dogs and have a wide range of experience with all different types of canines. I am a writer and I work from home. I can give your dog all the attention they want! I enjoy and prefer spending my days with man’s best friend! My backyard is fenced in and my neighborhood is safe and communal. Everyone knows one another on our street and always look out for one another. I’m very thoughtful and considerate of a dogs wants and needs and very perceptive.

This was my first time using Rover and I absolutely chose the right person. Normally when we go on a trip, the pictures we get are of depressed dogs who don't want to do anything, this was not the case. The daily updates were great, and their energy kept the dogs in great spirits. I very much hope to use David again in the future.
David took great care of my old senior dog Darwin for 5 nights. The yard space is shaded and nice. Plenty of room in the house for his large dog bed. He took him on a couple of walks a day as requested. He sent me pictures and updated me so I wouldn't worry. Darwin was in no hurry to get home so I know he enjoyed his visit. Would definitely recommend and would rebook if the need arises again!
My little guy loved David and that is incredibly rare. My pup is a nervous Chuggle who has separation anxiety, won’t eat and won’t engage with anyone while I’m gone. Not the case with David. David sent updates and pictures. It made my time away easier for me knowing he was happy and adored. Thanks David!

A typical day
I have a fenced in backyard that’s perfect to play some fetch or anything else your pet likes to do. There’s a park nearby and we could walk there meet some other neighborhood furiends or just relax.

I work from home so you can rest assured that your dog will always have company. If I do step away it’s never longer than a couple of hours.
