Pet care experience
My husband and I have have been pet sitting for eight plus years ( I have had pets all my life), mostly in other clients homes, but started to do boarding in our home if the guest pup would be a good fit for a visit to our home. My husband has passed on, but I wanted to keep the pictures we have with all our pets over the years. The home allows for plenty of space to run around with a good size backyard. Other than running errands, I will be with your pet virtually 24 hours a day. I would want our my own pets to be cared for in a loving family setting and welcome the opportunity to provide that same loving and caring environment for your special family member. It's fun to see our visiting dogs feel at home and settle in to a routine that they are comfortable with. We like to think our guests leave smiling because they have enjoyed their stay. (Footnote: the pictures shown are of a previous house and I have moved. There no longer is a pool, but still have a large backyard for the pups to roam and have fun in.) Whether in my home or yours, I will be with the pet even when they are outside playing in the yard or just out doing their business.

I think Cola had a great time with David. He was a little sad to come home in fact. He got to play, lounge, and go for walks while I was away instead of being placed in a pen at the kennel. I got a lot of updates while I was gone and that put me at peace to know Cola was in good hands.
She was amazing at taking care of hank! She sent me photos and videos of him everyday, and he came back worm out from playing all weekend! She was great and will definitely be using her in the future, (if she’s up to it) :)

We prefer to limit our hosting to small to medium dogs. Aggressive dogs need not apply!! We believe it reasonable for all dogs safety that shots are current. If your dog has special needs, would like to discuss before agreeing to a visit to be sure we can lovingly and comfortably meet your needs. We require all Vet contact information.
A typical day
Other than errands during the day, someone will generally be with your pet all day long. Our yard is large enough and interesting enough to provide lots of activity and exercise for your dog. You can bring bedding, and we have loads of large towels that can be used for bedding. Also lots of couch and king size bed space. Our goal it to treat your dogs like we would our own and that their tails are wagging when they come and go... We enjoy the dogs feeling like they are home, whether in our home, or if we are caring for them in their own home. We want them to be happy to see us!!!!

I'm retired and home most of the day, except for errands if necessary. Your fur baby will be loved as if our own and given plenty of attention and companionship.
