Personally, I prefer to know the dog's emotional behavior when it comes to meeting new people. Obviously, not every dog is going to be okay with being around strangers; knowing this before hand will affect how I may approach the dog when I first meet them. I have owned only small dogs but I have previously worked with many larger dogs, therefore, the size/breed of the dog doesn't matter to me, as long as your furry friend is comfortable with meeting me than I am more than happy to be with them.

When I stay with a dog, I make sure to give them the attention they need to feel secure and happy while their owner is away. If a pet sitter doesn't make the pet feel happy and comfortable in their own home than they are not doing their job correctly. I love taking dogs to parks, playgrounds, or physically engaging locations such as going up and down staircases. Playing fetch in a well contained area is one of the most fun activities to do with a dog as it gives them a great deal of exercise while keeping them mentally stimulated.
