Hi! I've utilized Rover sitters for a few years now and thought I would flip the switch and give back a bit. I recently moved to Portland and am flexible with my time this summer and beyond. I can do short and long stays if the calendar permits and enjoy helping out. I have 20+ years of adult experience taking care of dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have a flexible schedule as I have my own recruiting business. This helps me take breaks throughout the day and focus on helping others in my neighborhood out. I know we all have a busy schedule and our dogs need time & a ton of playtime too! I've walked and taken care of special needs dogs just as much as the average puppy. This includes senior dogs, aggressive dogs, nervous dogs and more. I'm aware, careful, as well as, playful and energetic and will treat your dog like my own. Speaking of, I own a rescue dog named Chico. He's awesome and helped me build even more pup experience. If I do a long term house sitting then I usually leave Chico with friends as he would not be at your home. Also, I've raised dogs, cats and other animals since I was a kid and have a ton of recent volunteer experience. This includes volunteering for Family Dog Rescue (where I adopted my dog), PAWS, a few others. Finally, I've walked, done check-ins and taken care of many of my friends' dogs for the past 5 years.
