Pet care experience
Despite having severe allergies and asthma as a kid, I couldn't get enough of the fuzz! I often chose my friends based on the pets they had in their lives. Although I didn't have any pups growing up, I spent tons of time around dogs, and got lots of experience caring for "alternative" pets. After moving to Chicago I started walking dogs and never looked back. I love all animals as if they are my own, but will tailor their care to the specific desires of their pet parents. I have walked for a local company for 3 years, seen hundreds of cats and dogs and done too many over night sits to count. My clients (people and pets) love me & I LOVE them! David is great! He is very attentive and patient with my pup Arya. My pup has a very high energy and David was able to handle it well and I can tell Arya had a wonderful time with him, Meg and their dog Wyatt. He sent me daily messages with Arya’s photos and videos and gave updates on how she was doing which helped keep me relaxed and at ease. I have experience dealing with all kinds of dogs, from chihuahua's to Great Dane's, new born puppies to canines that are nearing their end life stages, pups that love everyone and everything, to pups that have very particular likes and dislikes and aren't averse to letting their teeth do the talking. Before sitting with a pet I would want to know their history with other dogs, history with strangers, likes and dislikes, fears and favorites. The more information I have the more comfortable I can make the dog.
A typical day
With a fenced in yard and Weaver park a block away, the pets I care for will get tons of time outside! I love making each dog feel as comfortable as possible when they're away from their people, so I do my best to keep them on the same schedule they're on at home.
