Pet care experience
I have raised and lived with dogs my entire life, we currently have one dog named Ali who is 7 years old. Ali is a Shepard/Chihuahua mix with a lazy bone most of the day, loves car rides & hikes, and wants attention from everyone in the room. Our household has one person (me) working from home full time. I am home all day during the week and love having doggo visitors to keep me and Ali company! My partner of 10 years is a travel RN working in Redding 6:00am-6:30pm. You can expect that your dog will be walked each day during boarding, to have plenty of play time with us in the fenced backyard, they can get cozy on the bed or sofa, and potty breaks every 0 - 2 hours as needed. My office space is set up about 2' from our double glass doors to the fenced backyard, if the weather is nice I typically work with the doors open for the fresh air and sun. The dogs love this because they can walk in & out as they wish (never unattended, I can see the whole yard from my office space). We are both dog lovers and look forward to meeting your furry friend!

Atlas had a fantastic time at David's house. Pick up and drop off went smoothly, and I received pictures while Atlas was there.

We have a fully fenced backyard in a quite neighborhood. Our pup Ali will keep your furry friend company while we play in the yard or watch movies on the couch. My partner is also an RN (medical professional) with 25+ years of dog ownership and sitting experience.

Please let me know how your dog gets along with other dogs, daily medications, temperament, food restrictions, and/or any medical/disability type of information we may need to be aware of. For example if your dog has back issues or arthritis we can either keep them off or pick them up to get on the furniture if you wish so they are not jumping up and down from the bed.
A typical day
During the day I will take random screen breaks to walk around the yard with the pups, have scratches on the soft, watch a show, or play ball in the yard. After work I typically take our dog to walk locally at the sundial bridge park. My partner and I are also avid hikers. If you are ok with it your doggo can come along for a waterfall hike out by Whiskey Lake or short day trips up near Shasta.

Availability
I work from home full time, my Zoom meeting schedule is light and casual. I will be home with your pup all day and take them with us if we go for a walk at the park or go hiking (with your permission). I still work east coast time so I am up around 5:00am and wrap up my day at 1:30pm. The pups will have me at their disposal pretty much all day long and may make a guest appearance on Zoom to say hey to my co-workers.
