Pet care experience
I have tons of experience with dogs of many different breeds, including bullies. I grew up with Miniature Schnauzers and German Shepherds in the house, and would make a point to visit my neighbors dogs as much as I could as well. I also took care of an elderly tabby cat named Mr. Pounce during his golden years. I am now living with my fiance (Jess), a big goofy "Golden Retriever mix" (Winston), and a sly/mischievous domestic short hair (Luna). I enjoy spending time with, training, and having fun with dogs of all shapes, sizes and ages.

This was my first time using Rover. I had confirmed with two other sitters, but both had to cancel. Thankfully I found Dave and he was wonderful. He took very good care of my doggos and sent pictures every day. He even took them on an “adventure” that I know they appreciated! I felt totally comfortable with Dave at my house. He was even able to accommodate my last minute unexpected flight delay!! I will definitely use Dave again.
Dave was great. Sent lots of photos of his time with Birch and left the condo in great condition!!
Dave took great care of our dog and our home. He was responsive, flexible and shared lots of photos. We will absolutely book with him again.
Dave stayed with our two golden retrievers for a few days while we attended a wedding in Nashville. He was very responsive and we had a great meet and greet visit. He was on time getting to our girls, sent pics, and took great care of them! Sunny is 13, isn’t stable on the stairs, and has small seizures. He watched her carefully and gave her medication faithfully. Top it off, when we returned I couldn’t even tell he’d been in the house. The only sign was my mail stacked neatly on my island! I would very highly recommend Dave - he does a fabulous job. I will definitely call him in the future!

The most important thing I can know about your pup ahead of time is if it has any special needs. I've had dogs with renal failure and cats with diabetes. The treatments for these ailments are manageable, but completely different. In order to properly handle the responsibility of caring for your friend and companion, it is important that I know any health demands they have going into my visit so that I can meet them accordingly.
A typical day
A typical day with your pet depends on your pet! I believe each dog should receive the care and treatment according to their needs. A perfectly healthy German Shepherd Pup? Tons of exercise and mental stimulation. An elderly Pomeranian with arthritis? Less physical activity, more of the mellow affection it has earned over the years.
