I love my job as a physician in a busy emergency room. But what I love more is dogs and the therapy that they provide to everyone they meet. But I didn't learn that pet-therapy works from my medical education. Growing up, my family had three dogs and there isn't a single aspect of home life that I miss more than to share countless moments throughout the day with these amazing four-legged creatures. I wish I could get my own dog, but right now isnt a good time. However, on my days off from work, I find my self wishing there was a dog around! That's where you come in: Let me take care of your furry children on my days off from my crazy long ER shifts! Are you going away for the weekend and need a responsible human to make sure they are well cared for? Or do you need someone to drop in to feed and/or walk them while you're out of the house? I'd be happy to have them with me throughout the day, whether it's going for a walk, running through the trails and fields of Alley Pond Park, playing fetch, having treats, making poo, or even just relaxing indoors being fed and pet, it would be my pleasure to spend my time with them. (They may even return to you learning a new trick or two.) (If my Rover calendar says available, that means I am home all day and ready to play with your best friend. Try to book in advance if possible!)
