Zero Regrets, Care For Pets!

Pet care experience

Dogs are family. Providing peace of mind that your dog is in the best care while you’re away is my main priority! I have had dogs in my family for 17 years. I am a sap for each and every one of them as they each have their own special personalities and quirks that pull my heart strings. For many years, I would dog sit for my parents dogs when they would travel out of town for weeks at a time and I had responsibility for four dogs at once and loved every minute of it. I do understand the role they have in each family and respect certain ground rules and expectations. However, I think it really is just a matter of showing them the love they deserve and are lacking when their owner is away. My job is to make sure they feel comfortable in the absence of their owner, keep them safe, keep their food and water bowls filled according to instruction, communicate to the owner to provide them peace of mind and communicate to the dog that their owner didn’t abandon them. I would definitely call myself a “dog person” and I would love to earn yours and your dogs trust. I can assure you that I will provide you and your dog with first class service across the board and you will be beyond satisfied with the attention they receive when you’re not able to provide it! I am very flexible and can easily make myself available for you and your pet. Just a little heads up and I’ll be there! Happy to help! Living in a dog friendly, 2 bedroom condo with a social and loving Pomeranian of my own, you can rest assured your dog is in the best care!

David has been taking care of our babies (we have 3 King Charles Spaniels) for a couple of years, and is the best human BFF they ever had! He is truly a kind soul who is trustworthy, safe with any pet and cares for them as if they were his own. Hiring David was the best decision my Partner and I have made when it comes to our furry little kids!

I have had the pleasure of knowing David L a little over a year. David is a hard working and likable young man. Some of David’s best traits are his honesty and he is always willing to give a helping hand. He shows a lot of common sense and makes smart and well thought out decisions. David and Samantha along with their Pomeranian Chewy are neighbors of mine and I would trust David to always make the right choices while taking care of others beloved animals.

My doggie Jack was in good hands and Dave was kind enough to accept him into his home. Dave treats every pet like family, and you can be certain of their wellbeing while he is around.

Safety, trust & environment

When my own dog (Chewy) or someone else’s is in my care, I take their safety and overall well-being very seriously. Some dogs are really smart and have some humanlike traits, but they are still animals at the end of the day and I would not be able to stand myself if something safety or health wise was to happen to a dog in general, led alone while I was responsible for them. Leashes when outside and certain precautions while inside are always needed to ensure I can go to bed at the end of the day knowing everyone is safe, healthy and happy!

Information Dave L. would like to know about your pet

It’s always important to know as much as possible beforehand. Most times, the dogs human is extremely generous with sharing every detail about their loved one to make sure their dog doesn’t skip a beat and has the most typical day to day experience that’s possible in their absence. However, a dog’s human should advise of any temperament concerns, health issues, feeding schedule, sleeping schedule, activities they enjoy, tendencies of the dog, who to contact in case of an emergency, the dogs vet, where they keep the treats haha, and any other particular that may help keep the dog safe and as routine as possible without them being around for a given length of time.

A typical day

Fun activities with a dog depends on each specific dog, but I am just as energetic as the most energetic dog and I am just a calm and relaxed as a dog that requires or desires to live a “lap dog lifestyle.” Puppies and senior dogs are not going to be outside running for a frisbee or pulling me around a neighborhood necessarily, so the activities vary depending on the dog. However, I am well versed on all spectrums of the dog lifecycle and what they would want to be doing for mental and physical exercise at each individual stage. Dogs are meant to be spoiled to an extent and by that I mean I can and will cater to whatever activity they love and keeps them the happiest!

Dogs are priority! As a key member of the family, I understand the importance of them having full attention when a commitment is made and to be honest, that commitment is made when you bring one into your family or take on the responsibility of caring for someone else’s little one. The responsibility of a dog is no different than a child in my eyes, minus the fact that you can leave them alone for certain amounts of time. Otherwise, they require very similar care and attention and that is what I’m good at!
