Dave responded quickly and was flexible in helping us with a last minute request. I had already booked him for a visit 2 weeks from now and feel very comfortable leaving my pups and home in his hands.

Dave did a great job watching our dog (an 85 lb lab mix) over the Thanksgiving Holiday. He was very friendly, quick to respond and provided pictures & updates. We really appreciate all of Dave's efforts and highly recommend him!

Love pet sitting around Boerne area

As a dog owner all my life and have owned 9 labs over the past 35 years ( some with litters) and 2 dog families ( 2 labs named Chips and Salsa ) I realize that a routine is important when the master leaves even for a few hours or overnight.

Good playtime and exercise is important to a healthy and content dog.

Individual attention can make that time just fly away and before you know it the ...

What Dave would like to know about your dog

When Dave watches your pet

If your dog is an inside or outside or a combination of both like mine have been, I strive to maintain that consistently throughout their stay ( or my stay..lol).

Dogs are easily amused and happy most when we give them the love and attention they need. You may not see it but you can sense they have needs and being in tune with those signals can prevent unwanted consequences.

As for my buddy, Salsa is mostly an indoor gal. she sleeps at the foot of the bed, wakes up early like I do and heads out for her first urination in the back yard. If I go to leave the house in the morning, she will maybe jump up on the bed and watch me get ready and I'll let her out for one more time and then reward here with a treat when I leave. Generally I can leave her indoors anywhere from 4-8 hours with out any problems, in the past sometimes I worked late and it was 10-12 hours. When I get home, she goes outside and does her one and number 2 and brings the bone or ball for some fetches in the yard. After that she will lay in the kitchen hoping for some scraps from supper preparations and then it's off for a evening walk around the neighborhood for about 30 minutes (about 1.5 miles) then it is a relaxing evening in the family room until bedtime.

Most of my dogs have been raised this way and all were happy and enjoyed their visits and I have immensely appreciated their company as well.

Hope your buddy can experience the same.

Play time and exercise are important for a happy and well rested dog.

A routine is important to remain in place until the master arrives back home again.

Individual attention and respect can provide a long lasting bond even if just for a short spell.
