I have been dog/cat/house sitting for a good handful of my close friends for over 15 years. They all trust me and love the fact that I stay in the home while they are away. While you are away, you can have the piece of mind knowing that your pet is remaining in their environment that they love and are used to. The home is safe, lived in, and people love that. I bring the mail in, paper etc, and also put garbage out to the street, cut grass (if gone for a long trip), and can do chores around the home if needed. I actually get more than $30 a night when I do this, but I think $30 is fair for now. I enjoy helping people!
