Pet care experience
I have been doing dog care services both on Rover and Wag since Oct 2017 when I became a work-from-home consultant. I have received consistent 5-star reviews, tips and repeat business from clients. I have extensive experience with dogs. I grew up with black labs as a kid. I have had dogs of my own since 2000 when I purchased my first home. I volunteered as a dog walker at the Palo Alto Animal Shelter, and I’ve also helped my friends out with dog care over the years. I have a Masters in Computer Science from Stanford, and I work from home as a professional coach and consultant, so I have a flexible schedule.

Dave and his family were wonderful to work with. My dog Moka was really calm when I picked her up. They gave her lots of exercise, stimulation and attention. They were receptive to her specific needs in terms of being left alone and behaviour around other dogs. Communication was on point. I would highly recommend Dave. Looking forward to potential future stays.
Dave was great! He checked in daily, the dogs looked like they had a ton of fun in all the photos. It made us feel great that they had a big backyard to play in which they don't normally get at home, so they got their own vacation as well. Looking forward to using Dave again in the future. :)
When we met Dave, it was clear he had a lot of experience with dogs. He was quick to get on the floor with our do and asked all the right question. Within minutes, he understood we had a dog that didn't always well with other dogs and how to handle him on walks. He walked our dog for a couple of days while we were away. He arrived on time, took nice duration walks, sent pictures, and made us feel incredibly comfortable while we were away. Our dog is a precious member of our family and we will gladly hire Dave to care for him again.
All went smoothly. My dog Baxter seemed very happy with Dave. He really appreciated the extra snuggles during nap time and playing in the yard.

Pets are welcome in all areas of the house and will always have access to where the people are. Mostly pets just snooze on the floor next to where I'm working. Crate training is required if I have dogs from different households to ensure everyone's safety during the brief times humans aren't around to supervise. We do have a pool in the backyard. Dogs are never left unattended in the yard.

A typical day
Walks are important for me, and there is a wonderful park along the creek just a few blocks from my house that I visit daily. I'm happy to play tug or fetch with dogs who like that.
