I generally possess a deep appreciation and respect for animals and nature. Dogs render that organic special energy that is unforgettable. In the past I've been a volunteer at the SPCA (and returning very soon within the Cincinnati locations), as well as a no-kill shelter in Rego Park Queens, NY. While in NYC I also I participated in basic clicker obedient training classes with well-known trainer, Kate Perry. Most recently I lived in Denver, Colorado and landed an awesome position at Mile High Mutts boarding facility as a dog handler; interfacing numerous breeds all at once, monitoring behavior, intervening negative behavior and potential fights while still learning more about the canine species. In my home I've fostered several of my friends canine buddies where I really developed a closer understanding on this animal species. My personality is more of the thinker type, so I'm always paying attention to everything. I'm very self-motivated and love physical activity; running is my favorite active endeavor, followed by cycling so for sure if your dog loves to run we will be happy partners. There are three medium to large parks within a mile each way to trek to run in open fields for the dogs, or throw a Frisbee or ball. Or just traverse through. If your dog is social we could travel (via my vehicle or by foot) to Downtown to see what's happening in the city as well. I'm consistent and passionate about living a health-focused life; buying organic, local, fresh foods, organic household products and so-forth, so your pet will likely enjoy some organic treats if you allow so. Overall I love the presence of animals, I too have ample experience with cats. I am neat, very responsible and an attentive individual who cares. Basic obedient training can be provided as well; sit, stay, come,training to wait for a treat or to even be fed can be delivered.
