Updated 9/20/20 INTRO: My name is Darryl and I've been a dog enthusiast for over 20 years, and a sitter here on Rover for 5 years now. I enjoy learning about dog personalities and tendencies, it's always something that makes them bark! Love, treats, or a good ole belly rub, they all just want something and I enjoy figuring that all out! MY AREA: I own a large recently remodeled house with an enclosed front and back yard for play/hanging out. My neighborhood is very dog friendly and you can usually see kids playing and dogs being walked on leash. Your tail-wagger will walk, hangout, and breathe easy with the cool breeze coming from Surf City Huntington Beach. Activities include daily walks and play sessions in my own fenced front yard of and nightly Netflix 'n chill sessions on the oversized sectional sofa. SKILLS TRAINING: I have taught all types of dogs all the basic house training skills (potty, leash, eating, crate training, etc) through consistency, positivity, and careful observation of how other owners care for their pets. I’ve since passed my love for dogs to my family, who all have their own Corgis now! If you have a schedule for your pet, just let me know! I like to replicate the same routine for your dog as at home so they are more comfortable and have an easier time adjusting. SERVICE: I provide constant communication and regular updates. They're our kids after all and I like to keep parents in the loop! If you prefer, we can do a group text so you and your S.O. can both get the updates! WALKS: can do 3x/day: morning, afternoon, and evening ACTIVE LIFESTYLE: I normally hike once a week so I'm open to taking your dog out for a nice hike around Orange County if you'd like. If your dog needs extra exercise I can also jog with him/her. Just let me know and I'll try to keep up! SLEEP: their own bed or if the owner allows it, on mine :P TRAINING: If there's a habit you would like me to help with just let me know and I can help enforce it. DROPOFF/PICKUPS: I normally organize my dropoff/pickups at the beginning of the week If you have any questions, just ask! I normally get back to Rovers quickly.
