Pet care experience
My husband (Darren) and I (Karen) are fun-loving people who are passionate about dogs. Combined we have over 40 years of dog-loving experience. We currently share our home with our 8-year old MinPin-Chihuahua pup Juniper. We are, and always have been the go to in our social and work circles for dog sitting. We are looking to share our love for dogs with a happy and comfortable home and lots of walks. Karen works from home and is available for walks, drop-ins, or extended play dates at our home while you are at work. We are available for boarding, but require a meet and greet at our home prior to finalizing booking. We love dogs of all ages and types, and have been parents to lots of different breeds of varying sizes. We also have a lot of experience with older dogs, as our dogs passed at 14, 15, & 17. We understand the aches and pains of an older dog and the special attention they sometimes require. We are also comfortable with basic training (with treats) and oral medications. If you have a special need or situation, just ask!

I forgot to book a stay for our dogs and needed help last minute. These two totally saved the day! Not only did they send tons of pictures and take awesome care of our dogs, they were so easy to communicate with, kind and helpful. I can't recommend these two enough! Your dogs will love staying with them!!

We go on several walks throughout the day as well as spend time outside in our fenced backyard. Meals, medicine and training are provided based on the schedule provided by the client. Generally, we love to snuggle and play (as appropriate with the size and age of the dog). In our home we do allow pets on the furniture, but abide by the rules the client's prefer for their home.

A typical day
We love to go on long walks! For dogs that stay with us, or who live in the neighborhood, we love to walk throughout Crestview, especially to visit Brentwood Park. We can also do basic training, agility training, or other similar activities if requested by the client—these would be activities the client is already doing with their pet currently.

Availability
We go on 3-4 walks per day with our pup Juniper. Karen works from home so she has a flexible schedule for dog care throughout the day. We are generally home in the evenings, and have a fenced backyard for additional potty breaks or lounging outside.
