Pet care experience
Your babies are safe in my hands. I was born taking care of animals. I spent 15 years working in veterinary medicine and taking care of pets has become second nature to me. My love of working with animals led me to to my first job at North Shore Animal League in Port Washington, NY. I’ve worked at Humane Societies, City Shelters, Emergency Clinics, Private Animal Hospitals, Specialty Vet Practices and I bring all of that knowledge into play when I care for your pets. My friends frequently call me when they want their babies looked after. Life is not life without our fury little four legged friends running around warming our hearts. Please feel free to visit me before you decide if mi casa es su casa. I currently work from home and generally can accommodate your needs. 7am-8pm most days. Just ask if you need a special accommodation otherwise lights out at 8pm. We have a CoVid free house and we intend to remain that way. Hand sanitizer is at the door. Masks are welcome. Distance is appreciated. We have enough furry critters to keep everyone entertained so mi casa es su casa.

Thumper had a great stay with Darlene. He loved her dogs and I got videos and pictures of him while we spent the day in Key West. He was happy when I picked him up and seemed to enjoy summer camp with Darlene. She’s located in central Marathon. Very easy location. Highly recommend.

I have kennels to isolate puppers when alone time is needed. I mainly let everyone establish their own space and let me know where they feel most comfortable. Some like the couch, some like the doggy beds, some like the kennel and some like my bed. 🐶. Keeping you baby safe and sound is my priority.

If your dog is pet friendly and free from any illness then your pet is welcome here. Please let me know if there are any special concerns like medications, baths, allergies, special diets, quite time needed, etc. I am able to accommodate most requests. The more info you give me the better experience your pet can have. One way or another your baby will spill the beans to me. ???
A typical day
My house has enough space for them to rip and run and play without worries of breaking things. If you are ok with dog parks there is one 5 minutes away I frequent. There are two human parks in walking distance we walk to daily. We play catch, frisby, basketball, and of course dress up for the little girls.

Availability
I am back to work full time. I am generally available on the weekends and I keep my calendar up to date. My home is also equipped with cameras so I can keep and eye on them when I step away. I come home for lunch for an hour daily to check on my babies and there is always someone in and out the house keeping an eye on our guests.
