DISCLOSURE: I took a break during COVID and moved to a new area of Va. Beach. I am now ready to again care for other's fur babies. As a teenager, my family had a bichon frise and I was so in love with her. She was my baby and I cared for her majority of the time. Shortly after college, I got married and we adopted our own bichon frise. We had her for 14 1/2 years. We took her everywhere with us, when possible. She was my heart. My two children are now grown and I have adopted a female Morkie puppy who is now five. I would like her to have friends to play with from time to time so I thought this would be a good way to make some for her.

Darlene was beyond excellent with my two pups! She went above and beyond to care for them, was extremely communicative with me during the visit and was very flexible to my needs. I highly recommend her as a dog sitter!
10 out of 10, I would highly recommend Darlene! Even during our meet and greet, both of my girls were instantly comfortable. Darlene is such a warm and welcoming person. She treated my babies as if they were a part of her family. She sent me photo updates as well which was so appreciated and helped to alleviate my fears of my dogs staying with someone new. She was flexible in working with me on drop off and pick up times. She was very understanding when my plane back was delayed and I got in late. I would book with her again in a heartbeat!
Our little dog had so much fun with Darlene, and I think she made a new best friend in her little dog Lady. Darlene made us feel so comfortable leaving Daisy and sent photos and videos during her stay. We will definitely be booking Darlene next time we need a sitter.
Darlene was great! Our dog loved being with people & was well cared for!

I have a fenced in back yard and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I keep a padded bench in the upstairs bedroom by the window for my dog to enjoy watching the neighborhood during the day. Plenty of room for your fur baby, too.

I currently have a Morkie so caring for another pup won't be an issue at all. I come home at lunch during the week day so there can be midday walks.
