Hey there! My name is Darion and I am a huge animal lover (although I do have to admit that I have a big soft spot for dogs)! I was born and raised in Austin which in my biased opinion is definitely the coolest city in Texas! Currently I live in a town home in the Brentwood neighborhood with my boyfriend Grant, our three very lovable cats, and of course (the love of my life) our German Shepherd pup named Xena. Our dog is a super goofy and playful lil girl who gets along great with other dogs. She is very well socialized and would love to hang out with your furry pal while you're away! As I mentioned, we do have three cats so I would prefer if your pooch has had some sort of previous interaction with felines (if not I'm more than happy to look watch your fur baby at your own home). Our home has two levels; the bottom level consists of the living room and the kitchen and has big comfy couches for your pets to curl up on. The top floor is the bedroom and has a lot of room for the pups to run around and play. Even though I don't have a yard for the dogs to run around in, your pup is still guaranteed to have a blast! They can enjoy long walks around the neighborhood, go on hikes with my pup and I, go to the park/dog park, or even go swimming if the weather permits. Not only have I had dogs my whole life, I also currently work at a doggy daycare/boarding facility. This means that I am a professional when it comes to the happiness, comfort, and safety of your dog. At work I am required to watch large groups of 15-30 dogs so taking care of yours should be a piece of cake for me! I can administer medications to your pooch and keep even the most difficult special needs dog (and their owner) happy. I also know how to do basic grooming such as baths, anal expressions, nail clipping, and ear cleaning. As of recently I have also completed and am certified in pet first aid and CPR! I work ten minutes from home and my work hours usually consists of either AM or PM shifts. The AM shifts are from 6:45-12:30 and the PM shifts are from 2:00-7:00. If I work the morning shift that day, your pups scheduale would probably look like this: 6:00-6:30 Breakfast/Walk 6:45-12:30 Relax 12:40-5:00 Activities 5:00-7:00 Free time at home 7:00 Dinner If I was working a PM shift the schedule for your dog would look like this: 7:45-10:00 Breakfast/Walk 10:00-1:50 Free time at home 1:50-7:10 Relax 7:10 Dinner 8:00 Walk 9:30 Free time at home Of course, there are days when I don't work at all so I would be free to spend the whole day doing fun activities with your dog!!
