Since I was a kid, I've always been drawn to animals, especially dogs. As a kid my greatest wish in the world was to get a dog, and when I finally got my first dog, a mini dachshund, I felt like nothing in the world can possibly make me happier. As I grew, I got the chance to take care of my friends' dogs and cats while they were away, and this experience gave me the chance to meet and understand many animal personalities. As my dachshund Laska grew up, I saw how different a dog's needs are when it reaches an elderly age. When I got my second dog, a border collie opposite in every way to Laska, I had to manage both the needs of my anti-social, independent, elderly Laska, and the needs of my (extremely) energetic border collie Ripley. I have also taught both my dogs many tricks, as I enjoy this form of communication with dogs especially. While I haven't had the chance to work with cats as closely as I had with dogs, I love felines and am confident that I will be able to care for your cat as well.
