Since I was born, there has always been at least one dog in my household, and so I've grown up with dogs of all shapes and sizes! Throughout middle school, high school, college, and while living in New York, I would dog sit on weekends. I have experience taking care of puppies and senior dogs as well as a variety of breeds like Jack Russells, Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Beagles, Dobermans, Cockapoos and a variety of mixed breeds. I also have experience with housebreaking puppies, caring for dogs with disabilities, and dog training. In college, I volunteered for two years at the Kent County Humane Society in Chestertown, where I walked dogs around the enclosure and nearby trail, fed and bathed dogs and completed other miscellaneous tasks. My family and I donate every year to the Defenders of Animal Rights in Phoenix, Maryland as well as Lab Rescue of the LRCP. My boyfriend, Conor, and I live in a large, 3-bedroom open plan townhouse that is in walking distance to the Short Line Trail, where many of our neighbors walk their dogs throughout the day. Our neighborhood is safe and friendly and we have a fenced-in backyard with room for pups to play! I am very clean and organized, but dogs are still allowed on our furniture, particularly our comfortable couch (My parents bring their dog over every week and he has made himself quite at home on the couch)! I am very attentive and versatile, therefore I will adapt to whatever special requests and instructions you may have for your pup.
