Pet care experience
I’m a responsible and dependable non-smoker. I currently own a Southern mutt who we adopted in November 2019. He loves coming to work with me and playing with all the other dogs. We’re also planning on getting into the lost pet recovery field together and hopefully helping reunite families with their fur babies. Our last dog passed in my arms at the wonderful age of 17 so I have experience with senior dogs and have a huge soft spot for them. I also have three cats, a bearded dragon and have had horses most of my life. I’ve been a pet sitter for the last 15 years and started branching my company out to others in the community in 2017. I made my business a full time sole source of income in 2018 and have been loving it. I also have plans for becoming a certified dog trainer in the near future. I love animals, and have passed along that love for them to my nine year old daughter. It makes my heart so happy seeing how excited dogs are when they see you and knowing owners trust me to take care of their pets as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you!

Darcy was great at taking care of our dogs for a reasonable price. She showed up when she said, and stayed until the appropriate indicated time. She left my house in the same shape she found it and that is greatly appreciated. The most important of all the small issues is taking care of my dogs. The pics were great and her attention to detail ( my dogs didn't eat breakfast, I guess they missed us) which was great to have her reach out to us and let us know what was going on.
Darcy was a God send. My parents had to go to assisted living unexpectedly and we needed help with their dog that they've had for 14 years. Darcy was available, very accommodating, and the dog took to her immediately. He was more active than we've seen in a long time. We are so thankful she is there to help us all through this difficult time.

Anything that the owner feels is necessary for me to know. For instance, I have two brothers I sit regularly, a Golden and a yellow Lab. The Golden is a very picky eater and sometimes won’t eat unless you sit with him and the Lab has to eat with a ball in his bowl because he eats too quickly. I don’t have any preferences for breeds, I love them all.
A typical day
I love to take dogs for hikes. I also know of a couple nice dog parks in the area that I like to bring them to if the owners okay it.
