Hello! My name is Darcy. I am a 21-year-old who grew up surrounded by dogs and other animals. I have a deep love and passion for animals. I have previously worked at an animal sanctuary in the SF Bay Area where my work involved feeding, medicating, and caring for farm animals from rescue situations. In addition to my large animal care, I have extensive experience with dogs and cats through volunteering at my local SPCA, working as a veterinary assistant, and caring for my own pets over the years. I am comfortable with almost all species, including reptiles, amphibians, and rodents, and I have experience with senior and disabled animals as well. Being around animals brings me so much joy and I would love to take care of your pet(s), whether that be through walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Once again, Darcy came through for us. We have quite a large group of critters (1 large dog and 3 cats) living with us and we needed to go away for the weekend. I’ve worked with Darcy before when it was just my 1 kitty and she has always been super excellent at making him feel happy and safe. This time, she accomplished the same instantaneous rapport with the entire group. She is a great communicator and sent us pics and regular updates. Very grateful to have been able to work with her again, she is awesome!!

A typical day
Whether your dog is high-energy or more on the relaxed side, I will cater to their needs. I can play fetch and run around with them or just hang out and pet them. Whatever your pet likes, I’ll do my best to keep them happy.

Availability
I currently work part time, so I have a lot of space in my schedule to spend time with your pets! I work from 2:30-7 PM, Monday through Thursday, and Friday from 6-7 PM. My Saturdays and Sundays and completely free :)
