Pet care experience
I'm a graduate of Animal Behavioral College where I earned a certification in Dog Obedience. From childhood memories with my own dogs and exercising my young entrepreneurial skills in a summer dog walking business to sprucing up my skill set as an adult, the abundance of love remains constant. I'll extend the passion into the lives of all dogs that walk with me along their path or invite me into their forever home. I enjoy running, walking, playing fetch, teaching new tricks and cuddling depending on your companions' preferences. Indoors and or out. I've learned the no free lunch policy, which only rewards good behavior and I like to encourage dogs to show off their best! My home sits on just over .5 acres which is suitable for outdoor play.

Darcie was nothing but wonderful! This was our first experience not only with Rover but with leaving our dog with a sitter. Our pup has anxiety and Darcie handed it fantastically. The added photo updates were great for peace of mind. Highly recommend her services!
I highly recommend Darcie. Based on my experience I can say she is mature, responsive, professional, knowledgeable about dog behavior, and definitely caring to the individual needs of your dog. Her home and property are the perfect environment for your dog to be safe and have the opportunity to play and go for all kinds of walks. Importantly, she does what she says she's going to do and she follows any special directions you may have. And she takes great pictures/videos! It's a great relief to know doggie is safe and given great attention while being away.
Darcie was unbelievable! From the minute we dropped him off, she made us feel like our puppy Batman was being taken care of by a trusted friend. She was kind and gracious, and sent photos and updates often so we never worried. Batman was definitely sad to leave her!

A typical day
Since I'm surrounded by mountain trails I would love to take the dogs for a trail walk, a stroll through a nearby park or a leisurely walk around the neighborhood. Tug of war and fetch are a couple of fun activities, too, for something a bit more playful. I am a certified dog trainer and would love to address any requests from the dog owner that I may be able to apply my education to and offer assistance with!
