Patience for the nervous & afraid
Pet care experience
I just left work as a vet tech to spend more time travelling and exploring new areas. I'm comfortable giving medications (oral and injections) and love giving dogs attention: walks, kisses, hugs, pets, belly rubs, and giving treats (weight/diet permitting) ;). I have a rescue from the streets who is very nervous and afraid and through experience at work have developed a soft spot for those that may come off as aggressive due to fear.

I love all dogs, so no breed preferences, although I've had a chow chow and now a one-eyed schnauzer-poodle that light me up just a tad bit more. Information I'd like is: 1. how well they do on leash for walks and how they do with other people/dogs 2. Any health concerns/allergies that may affect their activities or diet 3. What kinds of toys or play they prefer
A typical day
I love going to parks, beaches, mountains and mostly exploring what they enjoy most, although some pets just would rather play or relax with belly rubs, which I also enjoy.
