Recently “retired” veterinary technician of 12 years, who is also a life long pet owner. Yes, I have had pets in my life, my WHOLE life, so working in the industry was a no brainer. However, I retired from the veterinary field last year, but will always love working and being with animals. I have worked as a Rover sitter in both Boston and NYC and LOVED it. I can offer some day boarding, overnight stays in my home on a case by case basis. However, my current apartment does have some space limitations, while also having 2 pets of my own. My pets are use to being around other animals from previous boarding stays, but adequate space is to ensure safety and separation when needed. This will change once I am able to expand my space, which will be soon. I am available for evening dog walks/pet sitting after 4pm during the week, and anytime on weekends. I am comfortable with providing care in your home, which I have done plenty of over the years. I follow instructions as provided, and give medications if needed. I will always leave your house the way I entered it, with care and respect. If you are going to be away for a while, I can water plants, bring in mail/packages, and take out trash if needed. ☺️

All breeds accepted. Would like to know if a dog has any medical requirements. Does your dog suffer from any behavioral challenges, such as anxiety (separation, thunderstorms, nervous pee'er, etc.) Is your dog, dog reactive? Does your dog tolerate cats?
A typical day
The best part about dogs, is the ability to get outside and explore. Long walks, and play time is always fun. But for those dogs, who are not to keen about outdoor activities, there's plenty to do indoors. I also love to drive, anywhere, no matter how far. My dog also loves going anywhere in the car, so if your dog is a fan of having their head out the window, and having their ears flapping in the wind….we can do that too.

Availability
I work from home full-time Monday through Friday. I am currently available after 4 pm on weekdays, and open flexibility on weekends. I get most most holidays off from work, so will be available for most holidays as well.
