Pet care experience
I have worked in the animal field since I was 16 years old with my main focus on veterinary care but have also worked at boarding facilities and provided pet sitting periodically throughout. I have fostered for vet clinics I have worked for as well as Homeward Bound for both cats and dogs. I have two outdoor cats Hank and Binx and two indoor dogs June (Lab) and Fern (Golden). When fostering there were always some pups that got along and some that didn't so I have always prepared schedules based on the circumstances with each group of pets. I have a large fenced in (privacy fence) backyard for playtime and potty time. Animals have always been my passion and even though I am now working at a payroll company I would like to continue to be involved with animals as much as possible.

I will need to know about their personalities: do they like cats, children, other dogs. Do they get along with male or female dogs better or both? Are there any triggers that might cause anxiety for your pet? Are they escape artists? Is there anything I need to be on the lookout for medically or emotionally that could cause issues for your pet or mine. I don't have any breed preferences as long as I know the full scope of the pet I am bringing into my home. I want to make sure they are completely comfortable while also keeping my household running normally for my pets as well.
A typical day
Doko Park is only an 8-minute drive from my house and we like to try to get out there as much as possible, but the main form of exercise will be playing in the backyard. Fetch, keep away, hide and seek whatever is most enjoyable for your pet! We also love including animals in our family time so whether it be a quick game of football in the backyard or hanging out in the living room your pet will be involved!
