I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with Sammie's stay with Danya. First, she is very unorganized. We arrive at her complex and she told us to meet her at the garage. We got to the garage and she told us that we have to go through the residential gate (which can only be opened via resident) and go up to the fourth floor to her apartment. Of course this didn't happen because we had no key to the gate obviously and we had to deal with this for 15-20 min when we were on a crunch time to get to work. She ended up coming down to get Sammie. Second, she messaged us that Sammie keeps barking. I asked her the reason why he was barking and She said that he barks when she leaves him alone in the living room as she closes the door to her room... Third, she fed him off his feeding schedule that we indicated very clearly on his info. She said that "Not sure why the routine is to feed him at 4pm" but says that she understands why pet owners maintain a meal schedule for their pets for varied reasons, after we explained it was for Sammie's condition. She said that she fed him because he was eager to eat her dogs food that she left out. Of course a dog is going to go straight for the food, but it doesn't mean you should feed him. She also said that she fed him as directed, but clearly she did not. Fourth, we judged that she was not capable of handling him until the pick up time, so we decided to pick him up earlier. She responds saying "would you like to cancel the booking (booked him for 6 days)... I think that's best as well". She also said "I was willing to work through his issues, I just agreed to you when you wanted to pick him up at 4pm". She was not willing to take care of him, she didn't have the capability to deliver what her profile says about her. Fifth, She decided to charge us the cancellation fee, when she was the one who wanted to cancel first. I should be the one charging her for a cancellation fee. Instead of contacting Rover herself to modify the booking, she tried to modify it where we pay her $40 for two days plus the $10 cancellation fee each day ($100 in total) because the app wouldn't allow her to modify it for one day. We called Rover ourselves and they were able to modify it on their end where we don't pay the cancellation fee and only pay her $40 for the day. Sixth, when we picked up Sammie he was covered in urine. Considering he had surgery and sutures from his hernia, we were very concerned with possible infection and complications. She tried justifying how much he peed by sending us a picture of him laying right next to it... She says in her info "I have dealt with every kind of dog in the book! I have worked with big pets, small pets, hyper pets and calm pets!" I highly doubt that because Sammie is not a hard dog to care for as he had previous rover experiences and he is well maintained at home. She didn't send us pictures throughout his stay, only complaints and a picture of Sammie laying next to his urine, which he was still covered in when we picked him up. DO NOT BOOK A STAY WITH HER. She demonstrated that she is not capable of upholding her responsibility as a dog sitter.

It was our first time leaving our 8-month old pup and we were uneasy, but she was well taken care of by Danya. The house is a nice clean environment and we would definitely leave our Roxy in her capable hands next time it is needed. Thanks!
