Will not use again, my dog was bit. I left my dog with Danny for 2 weeks while my family was out of town on vacation. This was my first time using Rover, but I won't use it again. After we returned home from picking up our dog we noticed that she had a wound on her front leg that resulted in a pretty large scab. I didn't think much of it at first our dog is very active. I made an appt to get her checked by the vet. We also noticed some matted hair on her ear. Turns out it was also a scab and it appears that another dog bit a whole in her ear. Never at anytime did Danny inform us of any injuries to our dog. Nor were these injuries even cleaned. The bleeding from the ear should have been pretty noticable. Makes me think my dog wasn't being cared for just fed and put out outside. These injuries could have become infected and resulted in a very large vet bill. Danny also never sent us any updates or pictures of our dog the entire time. Nor did he show my husband around where the dog would be staying or playing which I found odd. I will not use Danny again for dog sitting. I can't risk my dog returning with infected wounds.

I should have viewed the property prior to dropping off my dog but I had another Rover sitter back out at the last minute. The house is run down and very unkept. It smelled of urine to the point that couldn’t stay in the house. I had to wash my dog 2 times to get the odor off of him. In addition a expensive walking harness was “somehow” chewed off when it was only supposed to be on for a walk.
