I have completed a NAVTA approved veterinary assistant program at the College of Lake County. I am trained in Pet First Aid, I know how to handle chemical/electrical burns, Frostbite, Heatstroke, cardiac arrests and more. I have experience handling puppies, adults and senior dogs along with handling special needs animals. I have volunteered at various animal shelters, I have also participated in a wildlife rehabilitation and education internship over the course of a summer. I have trained my dog to do all the basic manners he should know, such as sit, ly down, stay, go get it, and some tricks like paw. I am really patient and gentle with animals and I love to observe them as best as I can to make sure they are alright. I have worked with aggressive dogs in the past and they do not frighten me, I am more than happy to take the time needed to let your furry friend adjust to me. I love to build bonds with animals, even though it may take time for them to get used to me, I am more than willing to give them the time. If you have any other animals in the house such as reptiles, cats, or fish please let me know. I am more than willing to work with each one of them.
