I love dogs and always will, I find caring for dogs to be fun and never a chore. When I was growing up we always had a family dog and at one point we had multiple dogs. I have had small dogs and larger dogs and love all kinds. About 3 years ago, my wife and I adopted our rescue , Luis. He was rescued from an abusive puppy mill . He came to us with a broken jaw and terrible anxiety. We loved (and continue to love) him back to health. Watching him break out of pain and fear to a place of joy is a gift that keeps on giving! My wife and I volunteer at a local dog shelter where we walk and play with dogs in need of human interaction/affection. I have so much more love in my heart to give to as many dogs as I can, hence, my decision to become a dog caretaker! I believe that dogs should be entertained and remain as active as they can (especially the younger ones). I enjoy taking dogs on long walks at the nearby park, playing frisbee, sunbathing and giving hearty belly rubs. I've never met a dog that will not overtime become my friend. In case of emergency, I have reliable transportation to take dogs to the vet. I would be more than glad to give dogs medication on a schedule, if necessary.I am experienced in rehabilitating my own rescue dog, it is a guarantee that I will be patient and gentle with your animal. I will always have tasty dog treats available and will ensure that your pet stays well hydrated and feed. We are quite relaxed when it comes to dogs being on the couch and in living areas. Our apartment is smaller but cozy. Also, our little Luis is super relaxed (he's an older guy) and won't bother your furry My jome and time is open to care for your small, medium or large dog.
